Welcome to Caribe Connect (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our platform at caribeconnect.com, including all associated services, content, and features. By creating an account or using Caribe Connect in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Caribe Connect, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them, along with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, for material changes, notify registered users by email. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Account Responsibilities

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password and not share it with others
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account at hello@caribeconnect.com
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.

3. User-Generated Content

Caribe Connect allows users to submit business listings, event announcements, job postings, and marketplace items. By submitting content you represent that:

  • You have the right to submit the content and it does not infringe any third-party rights
  • All information is accurate and not misleading
  • You own or have permission to use any photos or media included

Content Standards

All submitted content must comply with our content standards. Content must not:

  • Be false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent

4. Marketplace

The Caribe Connect marketplace allows users to post items and services for sale. Caribe Connect is a listing platform only — we are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. You agree that:

  • All transactions are solely between the buyer and seller
  • Caribe Connect bears no responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any item listed
  • You will not post prohibited items (counterfeit goods, illegal substances, weapons, etc.)
  • Pricing must be clear and listings must be accurate

5. Connect Card Membership

Membership Terms

The Caribe Connect Card (“Connect Card”) is a digital membership that grants access to discounts and perks at participating partner businesses. Memberships are offered as Day Pass ($9), Week Pass ($25), or Month Pass ($65). By purchasing a Connect Card, you agree to the following:

  • Membership is personal and non-transferable
  • Partner discounts and perks are subject to availability and may change without notice
  • You are responsible for presenting your digital card at the time of redemption
  • Partner businesses are independent third parties and Caribe Connect is not responsible for their services

Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the Connect Card, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds except in the following circumstances:

  • Your card was purchased but never activated due to a technical error on our end
  • You were charged twice for the same membership period

To request a refund under eligible circumstances, contact us at hello@caribeconnect.com within 7 days of your purchase date with your order details.
